The UL Lafayette FLUTE CHOIR meets weekly to rehearse selections for large and small ensembles of flutes. Instrumentation includes the alto flute, C flutes, and piccolos. Performances are scheduled in Angelle Hall and in area schools, public and private. Concepts such as intonation, rhythmic accuracy, listening skills, and projection are explored. The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Andrea Loewy.
