	The DVD Club is an extracurricular group hosted in the Music Media area by Robert Willey. We are an informal group of students, faculty, and members of the community interested in collaborating on DVD productions. To become a member you need a referral from a faculty member or have professional experience. We are looking for people with skills in a variety of areas, including audio and video recording, directing, interviewing, editing, animation, photography, DVD authoring, web design, computer science, advertising, and marketing. It is hoped that the club will be a place where people can share their work, get feedback, and recruit collaborators.
	A database is under construction listing interested people and the skills they have to offer. If you are interested, have a faculty member send an email to Robert Willey recommending you, and an email from you with the following information filled in and formatted in the following manner:

Current projects

• Louisiana Creole and Zydeco Accordion, vol 1. The Acadiana Arts Council grant will pay for 500 copies. Luke, Christopher, and Claire are going to work on menu, label to be stenciled on the disks, cover, web site. This has to be finished by early October. http://willshare.com/zydeco/
  
• DVD of Francis Pavy. Francis is a painter (guitar builder, and automobile restorer) with a studio in Lafayette. He is interested in participating in the club and will be donating some images to the Creole/Zydeco DVD. http://www.pavy.com
  
• Astral Project demo DVD. The New Orleans jazz group performed at Club 307 last year. We have some weak video and probably good audio. The group is interested in having a demo for promotional purposes.
  
• Music for Saxophone. Dickie Landry and Robert Willey. DVD of delay and electronic music, photographs of New York new music scene, paintings, etc. Content almost complete. Needs art direction. Possibility of publishing in Europe. http://willshare.com/saxophone/
