Auditions for Electra (Spring Theatre Mainstage Production)

Monday, November 20, 2017 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm

The Theatre program of the School of Music and Performing Arts will hold auditions on November 20th for Electra by Sophocles, translated by Frank McGuinness. Auditioners should bring a prepared classical monologue (Shakespeare, Moliere, the Greeks, or anything with heightened language), a headshot, and a resume. If you sing or play an instrument, please be prepared to offer a short demonstration (vocal auditions are a capella or self-accompanied).

To secure an audition slot for Monday, November 20th, please fill out the audition webform and contact production stage manager Maggie Martin for an audition slot, and include your headshot and acting resume (if available).

Callbacks are expected to take place on the same evening, but may also take place the following evening, Tuesday, November 21st. Sides for callbacks will be provided at auditions.
