Audition Requirements

Audition Application Materials

All applicants must submit the electronic audition form (located here as a downloadable PDF).  Audition forms must be submitted no later than March 9th, 2018. 

Students who are primarily interested in training as actors should come prepared with two contrasting monologues, not to exceed three minutes in total length.  A headshot (a current photo of yourself) and a resume of your past theatrical experience is encouraged.

Students who are primarily interested in training as theatrical designers/technicians should come prepared to interview with the faculty.  A portfolio of your past work in design, stage management or other technical expertise that you can bring is encouraged.  

Audition Schedule

Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 17th.  We will contact you with a specific audition time slot after the audition registration deadline of March 9th. 

Additional Important Information

Observers are not permitted in the theatre during the actual audition/interview process.

If you wish to join the Theatre program but are unable to attend the audition, you may be accepted conditionally to the program. Please submit the audition form by March 9th and indicate on the audition form that you wish to be admitted conditionally to the program.  Students admitted conditionally to the program will have their progress in the program reviewed by the Theatre faculty during the first year of training and will be notified of their eligibility to continue in the program after that probationary period.
