Quincy C. Hilliard

Quincy C. Hilliard is currently Professor of of Music Theory and Composition, and Composer in Residence. He holds the Heymann Endowed Professorship. His compositions for wind band are published by a variety of publishers including Boosey and Hawkes and Carl Fischer of which he serves as a clinician and consultant. Dr. Hilliard was commissioned by the Cultural Olympiad of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games to write a composition for the 1996 Olympics. He has also written the music score for a film documentary entitled The Texas Rangers for public television.
