UL Lafayette Symphony String Day Concert ft. Gershwin's 'An American in Paris'

The UL Lafayette Symphony will present its annual String Day Concert on Saturday, March 11 at 7:30 PM in Angelle Hall Auditorium. Highlights this year include Gershwin's An American in Paris, Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto (featuring UL student soloist Joseph Mansfield), and music from the motion picture Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Over 120 pre-college string players from throughout Louisiana will join forces with the UL Symphony for this free concert. For more information please call the UL School of Music at (337) 482-6012.

The School of Music is located at the southeast corner of the McKinley St. and E. St. Mary Blvd intersection. Parking for evening and weekend events is available in the lot on the northwest corner of this intersection. The entrance to the parking lot is on Girard Park Cir.
