Michael is a lighting designer and technical director, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  He received his undergraduate degree in Albuquerque, NM where he designed many shows for UNM's Department of Theatre and Dance and worked as a freelance lighting designer in the Albuqueque area.

After graduation, he moved back to Los Angeles and began workng at California State University, Loas Angeles' Luckman Fine Arts Complex.  For the next two years, he worked as a theatrical technical in the L.A. area before heading off to graduate school.

After receiving his MFA in Design and Technical Production from Tulane University, he returned to The University of New Mexico's Department of Tehatre and Dance as their Technical Director/Prodiction Manager for the 2018-2019 school year.  He also worked as a freelance designer for select pieces in the UNM's faculty dance show Forefront (2019), Musical Theatre Southwest's Chicago (2019) and the National Dance Institute of New Mexico's Route 66: Legends of the Road (2019).  In 2019 he moved back to Los Angeles where he worked at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Clifornia State Univeristy Los Angeles, and the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage at Santa Monica Community College.
