The Pride of Acadiana is UL Lafayette's marching band, performing at all Ragin' Cajuns home games and traveling to perform in different states and different countries.

All students, regardless of major, can audition to be a part of the Pride of Acadiana. Join us!

Whether you've chosen to pursue a career in music, or want to keep playing as a way to supplement your other studies, we have a performing group for you!

We have six ensembles, from the traditional marching band to jazz ensemble, from the classic concert band to the Ragin' Brass pep band, which shows there are a range of genres to choose from. You can feel the thrill of performing at athletic events and the satisfaction of bringing a piece to life on the stage. You can be a member of more than one group, too, so you're not limited to one style of music.

As a member of one of the UL Lafayette bands, you can also earn course credit and scholarships to help pay for school. All students, regardless of major, are welcome to audition. Join us, and help us spread the music across campus and Acadiana.
