Brennan Guidry
Brennan Guidry, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, received his Undergraduate and Masters in Music from Louisiana State University. Following the completion of these degrees, he went to pursue and receive a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. He has performed oboe/english-horn with various ensembles ranging from Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Opera Louisiane, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, LSU Opera, and Chorale Acadienne, among others. He is currently the principal oboist of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, teaches privately, and plays oboe, flute, and saxophone for local venues. He spends most of his free time reading through Baroque-era duets with his wife, an established violinist, as well as improvising ancient music on the Armenian Duduk.
