As a pedagogue, Dr. Little believes in providing her students with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of playing the flute; tone, technique, and etudes, to have a solid foundation from which to study great flute repertoire of all eras. Whether a student is entering a college music program, preparing a semester jury or recital, entering a masters or doctoral program, being selected for a regional or state ensemble, becoming a music entrepreneur, or performing for their own enjoyment, they will be able to have excellent control over their instrument.
