Big Bang Percussion Ensemble

Featuring internationally acclaimed Latin Jazz artist and steel pan virtuoso Victor Provost. The UL Lafayette Steel Band will combine forces with the UL Lafayette Jazz ensemble to feature Victor Provost as soloist on several of his original compositions for Steel Band and Big Band combined. The program will also include chamber works by several composers including John Cage and Steve Reich and ranging in musical traditions and influences from Africa to jazz to drum and bass.
