Ensemble Participation Guidelines

In order to accept multiple ensemble awards, music majors must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• To participate in two ensembles, you must be enrolled for a minimum of 16 credit hours (average per semester) that apply to your major curriculum and possess a 2.3 GPA. Only one ensemble can be counted in this total. First semester freshmen may enroll for a minimum of 14 credit hours and must have a high school GPA of 2.3 (on a 4 point scale).
• To participate in three or more ensembles, you must be enrolled for a minimum of 16 credit hours (average per semester) that apply to your major curriculum and possess a 3.0 GPA. Only one ensemble can be counted in this total. First semester freshmen may enroll for a minimum of 14 credit hours and must have a high school GPA of 3.0 (on a 4 point scale).

Only one ensemble per semester will count towards graduation.
