2020-2021 Performing Arts Season
Join us for our theatre and dance productions!
The Box by the students and guest artists of UL Performing Arts
Due to COVID-19, our normally-planned live productions in Theatre and Dance will not be held this semester.
Instead, we are taking the opportunity to create a remote performance that will incorporate both Theatre and Dance. Our students will work with faculty and distinguished guest artists from around the country and the world to create new works that will be a true reflection of the times in which we live. The final product will be available for streaming twards the end of the Fall 2020 semester.
The Misanthrope by Moliere
March 2021
Burke Theatre in Burke-Hawthorne Hall on the UL campus
One of the greatest comedic playwrights of France (or indeed, the world) brings us a hilarious cautionary tale about hypocrisy, brutal honesty, and the need to occaisionally soften the truth.
An Evening of Dance
April
Burke Theatre in Burke-Hawthorne Hall on the UL campus
Fresh and original works choreographed by students of the UL Dance program. An Evening of Dance always provides a wide variety of the best work developed by our students over the span of the year.
