Requirements

Admission to the Program

As a Dance student, you’ll need to meet all of the required standards for admission to the University, Additionally, all prospective Dance students are strongly encouraged to participate in a Dance Open House. Students who are not able to attended a Dance Open House may make arrangements for a private audition at the discretion and availability of audition committee.

Continuing to Graduation

All students in the Dance Program are required to audition for the seasonal mainstage Dance Productions each semester, and accept any roles in which you are cast. You will also be expected to attend all studio/lecture courses as you maintain the physical fitness and intellectual rigor necessary to allow you to progress through your dance training.
