The Theatre Program of the School of Music and Performing Arts will hold auditions for its Fall mainstage theatre production on Thursday, August 30th beginning at 6pm.  This semester's production will be William Shakespeare's classic comedy As You Like It.  Considered by many to be one of Shakespeare's finest comic efforts, As You Like It transports the audience to the magical Forest of Arden, where love, disguises, and the natural world frame some of his best-loved characters--the witty Touchstone, the melancholy Jacques, and the irrepressible Rosalind.  Auditions are open to all.  Those who wish to audition should prepare a 1-2 minute monologue from one of Shakespeare's comedies other than As You Like ItAn online audition form and more information are available here.
