- Taking care of students, faculty, files, processing purchase orders and PAF forms for Adjuncts and student workers, managing student workers, maintaining office supplies, curriculums and class schedules, process paperwork for schedule changes, answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner, maintaining University credit card log
- What do people think you do?
- Honestly I really don’t know
- What do you actually do?
- Anything that I possibly can to make things easier for my faculty and students
- How long have you worked for the University?
- 14 years in October
- For the College of the Arts?
- 6 years in July. I was a Temp for two months, starting in August of 2007, actually in Visual Arts until Tracey was able to start for one month and in Management the other month. I officially started in Management on October 1, 2007.
- What is your favorite part of your job?
- Getting to know and support our students
- What is your favorite time of the day or week?
- Saturday and Sunday, getting to spend the most time with family and friends
- What do you think is your most important contribution to your area or the college?
- Doing everything I can to make it so my faculty know I’m there to take care of anything administrative so they can just concentrate on their classes and shows. Helping our students in any way possible.
- What do you want the rest of the college to know about you?
- Once I started working at UL I was also taking classes to finish my Bachelor’s degree, finishing in December 2012. General Studies, concentration in Arts & Humanities and a minor in Social Sciences
- What do you think that your co-workers would be surprised to learn about you?
- I am a former President of the UL Alumni Band
- What is your favorite pastime or hobby?
- Traveling, attending UL sporting events with my husband
- Anything else you want to add to let us know you better?
- I am a third generation UL graduate. My Grandmother graduated in 1950 with former President Dr. Ray Authement. My Mom, husband, brother and 3 aunts and 1 uncle are also Alumni. I was the 2009 recipient of the Ragin’ Cajuns Spirit Award.
