Greg Romero Publishes New Play

Greg Romero, visiting assistant professor of theatre, recently published his full-length play, "The Milky Way Cabaret," published by Next Stage Press. Originally commissioned by the Cardboard Box Collaborative, the play has enjoyed multiple professional productions in Philadelphia and Dallas. Romero is hopeful the play will enjoy a continued life through publication and additional production.

This is Romero's fifth play in publication. Previous published works include "Two Bubbles" (Playscripts), "Of Plastic Things and Butterfly Wings" (YouthPLAYS), "Delaware Mudtub and the Mighty Wampum" (YouthPLAYS) and "The Elephant and the Light in Claire's Suitcase" (multiple publishers, including "The Weirdest Plays of 2020").
