Voice Professor Kelly Bixby Conducts Residency in Michigan

Kelly Ann Bixby, Donald Nally, and Kimberly AdamsIn early April, Dr. Kelly Ann Bixby, Assistant Professor of Voice, traveled to Western Michigan University for a residency of workshops and performances with her professional chamber ensemble, The Crossing. Coincidentally, the weekend aligned with the Grammy Awards, for which The Crossing was nominated this year for its live album Rising w/ the Crossing: acclaimed by NPR as the Best Classical Album of December 2020 and earning a nod from The New York Times as one of the 25 Best Classical Tracks of 2020. This marks the Crossing’s 7th Grammy nomination in six consecutive years.
